GOLD COAST CLUBS 

Tweed  supports the biggest clubs for the Gold Coast. Due to the prohibition of slot machines in Queensland until fairly recently.
Two huge clubs were built right on the border to cater for Queenslanders who wanted to play slots. Twin Towns Services Club and the Seagulls Club.  
These licencing laws have been lifted now and you will find slots in nearly all the clubs on the Gold Coast. The extra revenue from the slots, enable these clubs to serve up entertainment and food at very reasonable rates.
You will find RSL and Surf  Life Saving Clubs in every suburb along the coast.

Currumbin Beach Surf Club Located right on the beach at Elephant Rock, Currumbin. I can vouch that the coffee here is as good as the view. One of the rare places where you can sit in comfort and enjoy a cigarrette with your coffee and this incredible birds eye view  of the ocean.
